Foundation builder. This is not “team basketball”—it’s skill acquisition and athletic literacy.

Key Differences:

• Heavy reps, low systems
• Mistake tolerance is high
• Teaching pace > winning

KPIs:

• Skill progression (ball handling under pressure, shooting mechanics consistency)
• Movement quality (footwork, balance, coordination)
• Practice attendance + engagement

Barometers:

• Can they play through contact without losing control?
• Can they make decisions in 0.5 seconds?
• Do they dominate their age group physically and mentally?
